Letters to our Soldiers, Tarpon Springs - DAILY DIMES® mailed several hand written letters to currently deployed service members. The personal letters of appreciation and support were sent to Operation Gratitude, located in Van Nuys, California. Operation Gratitude also sends special packages to wounded heroes who are currently recovering in Military hospitals and/or Wounded Warrior Transition Units. Each year, over 100,000 care packages are sent out to deployed Troops as well as Wounded Warriors. The packages typically contain snacks, toiletries, entertainment items, and personalized letter. Our staff felt compelled to send both personalized letters and Get Well cards. The most cherished aspect of the package are the personalized letters. After learning about this vital aspect, the team members of DAILY DIMES® were quite eager to participate and experience in this considerate cause. Each employee was excited to craft a heartfelt letter to the countless heroes which safeguard our freedom on a daily basis. Lots of notes and various cards were mailed in an effort to express endless gratitude to our courageous troops.
